Edward Sterba serves as a Vice President Executive Partner in the Global Enterprise Account Division of Gartner Inc., the world’s largest IT research and IT advisory Company.

In this role, Mr. Sterba is responsible for providing advisory, coaching and consulting services to C-Suite clients with a focus on areas such as IT and digital strategy management, implementing transformational change, and delivering IT modernization.

Prior to holding this position, Mr. Sterba served as the Chief Information Officer of OneMain Financial, a Citigroup Company until his retirement in 2016. In this role, he was responsible for all areas of technology management, including strategy, architecture, development, support and regulatory compliance. Prior to his work with OneMain Financial, Mr. Sterba served as the Chief Technology Officer of HSBC. In this role, he was responsible for HSBC’s global software delivery organization and the Enterprise Architecture function, supporting the retail, commercial, insurance, trade, investment and digital banking units.

Mr. Sterba holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Norbert College.
