Rodolphe Sahel is Managing Director, acting as Deputy Head of Group Treasury for Société Générale, being based in Paris, with a worldwide scope of responsibility.

Mr. Sahel joined Société Générale in 1993. He first served as an inspector and chief inspector. Between 2002 and 2016, Mr. Sahel worked in Fixed Income and Forex division as a Managing Director, acting as global Chief Operating Officer at a time when Société Générale was expanding its product and geographic reach in this area. During his tenure in capital markets activities, Mr. Sahel was located in London for several years. Mr. Sahel then joined Group Treasury within the Finance division, where he holds the multi-faceted role of Deputy Head of Treasury.

During his career at Société Générale, he gained a background in Treasury, Capital Markets and Risk Management, including the management of market, credit, liquidity and operational risks under stressed circumstances. He has strong experience in strategic thinking, product development, technology, project management, operational excellence (front-to-back) and risk management across the whole spectrum of risk categories, including active management of market stress situations.
