In his current role, Mr. Lucas focuses on developing markets trading products driven off emerging DLT market capabilities that complement JP Morgan’s existing footprint and support client needs.

He is also responsible for representing JP Morgan on select industry initiatives and wider market developments related to DLT. Mr. Lucas is a board member of HQLAx and Ownera, and a member of the CFTC GMAC (Digital Assets). He joined the Markets business after roles within the Chief Investment Office, Treasury, Global Corporate Bank and Treasury Services.

Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2010, Mr. Lucas served as an Infantry Officer for 13 years in the Australian then British Army, including tours of East Timor, Northern Ireland, and Iraq.

Mr. Lucas holds an MBA from Cambridge University and a BA from Deakin University. He is based in London.
