Teddy Cho
Mr. Cho serves as CIO for the Markets business at BNY Mellon, leading end-to-end technology strategy, execution, and delivery.
In this role, he oversees the design and development of systems for trading, risk, post-trade processing and settlement, and electronic dealing to support activities across Foreign Exchange, Securities Finance, Global Liquidity Services, Margin Management, and Fixed Income & Equities. He is a member of the Markets Executive Management Team as well as the Technology Senior Leadership Forum at the Firm.
Including his time at BNY Mellon since 2016, Mr. Cho has spent 31 years in senior technology positions at large financial institutions in London and New York, including Deutsche Bank (1999-2016), Morgan Stanley (1997-1999), and Salomon Brothers & Smith Barney (1993-1997). Over the course of his career, he has built extensive expertise in delivering complex technology systems that solve unique trading needs, with a focus on derivatives.
Mr. Cho has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Duke University. He resides in New York City.
