"In February, we saw average daily traded volumes of USD1.94 trillion, up 0.9% compared to January 2021. There was also an increase in FX spot volumes of 3% and a minor decrease in FX swap volumes of 1%, while FX forward volumes increased noticeably by 20%. In particular, we saw significant increases for USD/JPY and USD/CHF of 14% and 15%, respectively, compared to January 2021.“
Compared to February 2020, FX spot volumes decreased by 5% while FX forward volumes and FX swap volumes rose significantly by 31% and 11%, respectively.
