CLS names Trevor Suarez as CFO
CLS today announced that Trevor Suarez has been appointed Chief Financial Officer, based in London. He joins the Executive Management Committee and reports to David Puth, Chief Executive Officer of CLS and will be a key contributor to the Audit and Finance Committee of the CLS Board.
Trevor joined CLS in February 2014 as Head of Financial Planning and Analysis and, since September, has held the role of co-CFO. Prior to CLS, Trevor was Finance Director for the UK Wealth Division of Lloyds Bank and Head of Group Planning & Performance at Halifax Bank of Scotland. He is an ACA qualified accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
Now assuming overall leadership for the Finance function, Trevor will oversee all aspects of CLS’s financial management, planning, control and reporting. His focus will be on steering CLS’s financial strategy, including risk, cost management, pricing, capital and balance sheet management.
“Trevor’s broad experience and proven track record in financial leadership, both prior to CLS and in his current role, ideally place him to lead the Finance function,” said David Puth. “I look forward to working with him as we continue to focus on maintaining a strong and safe balance sheet, delivering on our strategic initiatives and making the technology investment required to meet the needs of our settlement members.”
