Cross-border payments interoperability and extension taskforce
CLS is pleased to announce that, following a public call for nominations, Dirk Bullmann, Global Head of Public Policy has been selected to participate in the cross-border payments interoperability and extension (PIE) taskforce, established by the Bank for International Settlements’ Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructures (CPMI). The taskforce comprises senior representatives from different jurisdictions, regions, private sector institutions and businesses. The full list of members can be found here.
The aim of the PIE taskforce is to strengthen private sector participation in pursuing the key objectives of the G20 cross-border payments programme of improving the speed and transparency of cross-border payments, increasing access to such services and reducing their overall costs. The meeting materials and future outputs from the PIE taskforce will be made publicly available on the CPMI website.
