Sophie joined CLS in summer 2023 as a Public Policy and Innovation Specialist and is supporting the formulation, development and implementation our global public policy and innovation strategy. She works to engage on all aspects of CLS’s innovation-related research activities with a particular focus on distributed ledger technologies, Central Bank Digital Currencies and Artificial Intelligence.

Prior to joining CLS, Sophie spent three years working at Bank of England focusing on payments innovation policy and also then working in private sector consultancy with a focus on payments sector regulation.
